Job summary

RONA in Alma, Quebec is seeking a Yard Supervisor to ensure efficient yard operations and a positive customer experience. You will manage product flow, organize stock, assist customers loading, and uphold safety standards during daily shifts.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to work outdoors in all conditions, and strong teamwork. Prior yard, lumber, or forklift experience is advantageous, and you will participate in ongoing training and development within our community-focused

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, ensuring every customer has a great experience
• Assist RONA customers to load product into their vehicles
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department by off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, & maintaining pallets/stock
• Direct, mentor and assist yard team members as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties
• Maintain 100% commitment to a safe environment

The Yard Supervisor is responsible to ensure the yard is operating efficiently resulting in a positive customer experience. The Yard Supervisor manages the product flow and arrangement, oversees the customer loading process, and ensures safety is top of mind for all yard employees.
