Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is seeking a Winter Sports School Sales Representative at Fernie Alpine Resort. You will book lessons, camps, and packages, building guest relationships from inquiry to purchase. A strong customer service background and willingness to learn WSS products are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and sales in a resort setting.
• Cash handling and POS reconciliation experience.
• Ski or snowboard instructor certification is an asset.
• Experience with Intouch software is an asset.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a comfortable, friendly, safe working environment for guests and staff.
• Build relationships with guests at sales and inquiry.
• Create tailored packages to elevate on-mountain experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of WSS products and resort events.
• Do daily cash handling and POS reconciliations.
• Enter bookings into the WSS POS and answer inquiries promptly.
• Follow RCR policies and safety management program.
• Assist WSS Supervisors with daily tasks and staff communication.

We are looking to fill the position of Winter Sports School Sales Representative at Fernie Alpine Resort. You share your love of the mountains by booking Winter Sports School lessons, camps, and packages. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, previous winter sports school experience, and a positive attitude. You Will:

• Ensure a comfortable, friendly, safe working environment for both guests and staff
• Create an atmosphere of relationship building for the guests at initiation of sales and enquiry process
• Create tailored packages of our products to elevate our clients’ on-mountain experience
• Have an in-depth knowledge of all WSS products and resort events
• Do daily cash handling and reconciliations on POS systems
• Build and enter all guest bookings into the WSS POS
• Answer phone and email enquiries with professionalism and urgency
• Maintain and abide by RCR Procedure and Policy and Safety Management Program
• Assist WSS Supervisors in daily tasks to help organize and communicate with instructing staff

You Have:

• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• POS system and cash handling/reconciliation experience
• Ski or Snowboard instructor certification an asset
• Experience with Intouch software an asset
• Previous experience in a similar role an asset

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive wage: $18.25-19.00 p/h
