Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is hiring for winter and seasonal maintenance on Ontario highways, requiring AZ or DZ licenses and a safety-minded, team-oriented approach. Local applicants preferred; shifts include 8–12 hours, 5 on/2 off or 6 on/1 off, with on-site work across Ontario.

You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, perform labourer duties, and contribute to keeping highways safe year-round, with strong benefits and a union environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract.
• Experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Ontario highways year-round and assist with labourer duties.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
