Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) seeks enthusiastic individuals to maintain Ontario highways. If you hold an AZ or DZ license and want a stable, long-term career with local impact, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include winter and seasonal maintenance using snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment; shift work and 5-on/2-off or 6-on/1-off schedules; competitive wages and a health and benefits package through the union. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs.
• AZ or DZ driver's license with air endorsement.
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver's abstract.
• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
• Work outside in all weather conditions

Skills

AZ/DZ license with air endorsement

Snowplow / wheel loader experience

Physically capable (50 lbs)
