Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) offers road maintenance roles across Ontario, requiring a DZ or AZ license and a commitment to safety and community. You’ll operate snowplows, loaders and other heavy equipment to maintain highways, with shift work and a strong benefits package.

Wages range from $25.50 to $33.50 per hour, with premiums for night shifts, snow plow duties, and AZ operation. Local applicants are prioritized; on-site, union-supported work with comprehensive health, retirement, and training

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
• Work outside in all weather conditions
