Job summary

Ferrovial Webber in Ontario is seeking a Foreman for winter operations. You will plan, organize, and supervise projects, ensuring safety and on-time completion.

The role oversees crew under Patrol Supervisor and Operations Manager, with a pay range of CAD 26.50 to CAD 28.50 per hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, prior supervising experience in road construction, and a valid DZ license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a foreman/crew supervisor in road construction.
• Valid DZ driver's license with clean driving record or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Follow supervisor's instructions and communicate supervision to the crew.
• Follow the outlined weekly work plan for themselves and work crews.
• Create and verify accurate payroll records for the workers.
• Help to create and verify accurate Winter Operations Records.
• Maintain communications with patrollers and supervisors of job status and current assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain and supervise a clean jobsite free of tripping hazards and unnecessary obstacles.
• Carry out all work activities upholding the Company values and meeting all the client's outcome targets.
• Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedure.
• Perform visual inspections on culverts, fencing, bridges and any other infrastructure as needed.
