Job summary

Ferrovial Group is seeking a skilled highway maintenance worker in Ontario. The role focuses on maintaining contracted assets (roads, signs, guardrails) and performing winter maintenance, with a pay range of $25-$27 per hour.

You will operate tractors, graders, mowers, and other equipment, assist with traffic control, and support emergency response rotations. Valid DZ license and safety training are required, with strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years related construction/road maintenance experience.
• Valid Ontario DZ driver's license and driving record.
• Training in traffic control methods, first aid, TDG, WHMIS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow and ice using snow removal or sanding equipment.
• Maintain and repair highway surfaces and signs.
• Operate vehicles and equipment for maintenance and repair.
• Perform traffic control setup and removal.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites.
• Be available for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
