Job summary

Ferrovial via Webber Canada is seeking a Winter Maintenance Supervisor to manage contracts for roadways and related assets. You will oversee shift operations, organize daily work, and ensure safety and efficiency in line with project standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid Ontario DZ license, and at least three years in construction or road maintenance. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to coordinate teams and resources effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in construction, road maintenance, or related outdoor work preferred.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Class DZ Driver’s License and MTO Operator's Permit with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee winter maintenance shift operations and provide supervision.
• Assist in organizing daily/weekly work, including equipment, materials and labor allocation.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with standards and procedures.
• Provide leadership and training to junior staff on safety and procedures.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance and report deficiencies to the supervisor.
• Coordinate traffic control and liaise with authorities as needed.
• Maintain records of equipment usage, hours, and material consumption.
