Job summary

Ledcor Group in Alberta is hiring for winter seasonal road maintenance across Alberta from October 1 to April 30, with potential for year-round employment. You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment, ensuring highways are safe in all weather.

Applicants should have a Class 1, 2 or 3 license with air endorsement, be physically capable, pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing, and have a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver's license with air endorsement.
• Clear 3-year driving abstract.
• Previous snowplow truck or wheel loader experience is an asset; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways and assist with labourer duties such as crack sealing and pothole repair.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
