Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is hiring for winter seasonal road maintenance across Alberta from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year-round employment.

Candidates should hold a valid Class 1, 2 or 3 license with air endorsement and be prepared for physically demanding work in all weather conditions. The role involves operating snowplow trucks and other heavy equipment, maintaining highways, and performing Labourer duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing completed successfully.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Previous snowplow truck or wheel loader experience is a strong asset, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways including Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation).
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
