Qualifications

• Valid CWB Welding Certification an asset.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding in manufacturing.
• Experience with tow motor (forklift) and crane operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Physical capability to lift to 40 lbs regularly.
• Proficiency with industrial band saw and power hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with powder-coated components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Production Supervisor on fabrication, assembly, and material handling tasks in the shop.
• Fabricate components by cutting parts to specifications using an industrial band saw.
• Weld large and small assemblies using MIG and TIG welding.
• Assemble welded components following fabrication and powder coating processes.
• Perform material handling with tow motors and cranes to move materials and finishes.
• Verify fabrications meet customer specs and quality standards.
• Collaborate in teams and also work independently to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Operate power hand tools and equipment to support processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
