Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder, Fitter, Welding Technician, or Fabricator.
• Proficient MIG welding and fitting is required.
• TIG and Stick welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
• Fit, align, assemble, and weld metal components and structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, welding symbols, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, grind, drill, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding parameters.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for quality and dimensions.
• Identify and correct fitting or welding defects.
• Follow production schedules and maintain a clean work area.
