Job summary

AHU technology in Mississauga, ON is seeking an experienced Shop Welder/Assembler to perform TIG and MIG welding on steel components and assemble parts according to drawings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on welding experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a proven ability to work independently in a fabrication shop. Excellent attention to detail and safety-conscious workmanship are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on TIG & MIG welding experience.
  • Experience working as a Shop Welder & Assembler.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
  • Strong fabrication, fitting, and assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and metal components.
  • Assemble fabricated parts according to engineering drawings
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Ensure weld quality meets company standards
  • Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely

Must have

  • Excellent fitting and assembly skills
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Located in or willing to commute to Mississauga, ON
