The role requires extensive MIG welding experience on steel and aluminum, plus TIG is a valuable asset. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and perform precise welding and finishing with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fabrication role with welding experience.
• Experience in MIG welding on steel and aluminum; TIG a plus.
• Proficient with plasma and torch cutting techniques.
• Operate saws, drill presses and milling machines safely.
• Read blueprints and technical documents with accuracy.
• Capable of crane and lift truck operation where needed.

Responsibilities

• Optimize assembly and welding sequences from designs and prints.
• Prepare materials: grinding, beveling, de-scaling, cleaning.
• Fit and secure components to meet specs.
• Perform precise welding for correct welds and configurations.
• Inspect, clean, and finish weld areas.
• Follow safety rules to maintain a secure workspace.
