Job summary

RBC is recruiting a Manager, Practice Enablement for Southwest Ontario to empower Investment Counsellor teams and drive exceptional client experiences. You’ll coach staff, manage operations, support marketing, and contribute to risk management while liaising with peers nationwide.

You’ll lead talent onboarding, performance cycles, and cross-office best practices to sustain a high-performing regional team within Wealth Management. A dynamic, collaborative environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing and developing people, leading large teams to exceptional outcomes.
• Experience leading and driving engagement through change management and problem solving.
• Leadership experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
• Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Experience in assisting wealth management teams and client facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams to achieve region objectives and foster growth, innovation and success.
• Foster strong working relationships and provide training to resolve issues.
• Share best practices across the regional team and support head office change initiatives.
• Lead talent acquisition and onboarding, mentoring, training for new staff.
• Oversee annual performance management, support promotions and address underperformance.
• Ensure operational and procedural excellence by monitoring risk alerts and document actions.
• Support management of regional office operations.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate to executives when needed.
• Create an engaging culture and empower staff with collaboration and rewards.
• Develop a talent pipeline and succession planning across staff.
