Facilities Assistant

Job Description:

The Water Resources Education Center at the City of Vancouver, Washington is seeking a full-time Facilities Assistant to support room rentals, front desk operations, and indoor and outdoor exhibits. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering excellent customer service, supporting facility and exhibit maintenance (including aquarium care and groundskeeping), coordinating room rentals, and sharing information with the public. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, effective communicators, and enthusiastic about working in an educational environment serving the community.

Salary: $3,937 - $5,033/month ($47,244 - $60,396 annually) with benefits such as health coverage (medical, dental, vision), paid leave, and Public Employee Retirement Systems (PERS) enrollment and matching.

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility required to support building operations, rentals, and educational programs and activities.
