THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Facilities Specialist, you will provide support to an assigned region of restaurants through Preventative Maintenance, Site Assessments and reactionary repairs helping deliver an environment of World Class Food Safety and an Excellent Guest Experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Site Assessments at each assigned restaurant every quarter
  • Complete reactionary service calls in a timely cost-effective manner
  • Partner with local and national vendors to ensure work completed is on par with Chipotle's standards
  • Conduct sub-regional Ownership classes promoting confidence and increasing knowledge with equipment and facility upkeep.
  • Collaborate with sub-regional leadership team to have unified purpose and vision inside our locations
  • Manage direct M&R budget of assigned restaurants
  • Work directly with AFM/FM to identify capital improvement needs. Get quotes for such items and after installation validate quality and workmanship
  • Source, organize and maintain individual truck stock for needed repairs
  • Manage Work Order requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give Work Order training to restaurants when needed.
  • Partner with Facility Support Team to ensure requests are assigned and completed in an efficient manner
  • Meet all administrative deadlines when it comes to mileage, Pcards, Inventories, and Tru-ups.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Trade school certificate preferred
  • 0 – 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Gas Fitter License 1 or 2 required
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report Required
  • BES 1 & 2 Certification preferred
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Comfortable with basic HVAC maintenance - changing belts, filters and coil cleaning
  • Comfortable with basic Kitchen Equipment Repair
  • Mechanically inclined, must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to use ladders on a frequent basis
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations while communicating in a professional and positive manner
  • Must be a problem solver

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Pay range is $50,000.00–$68,000.00 depending on skill level, experience and/or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.
