Having completed our pivotal clinical study, our focus now is on obtaining regulatory approvals and launching commercially. This marks an exciting milestone in our journey to bring this innovative technology to patients.

Opportunity: Facilities Specialist

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Specialist to join our growing operations. Currently, we manage just over 175,000 sq. ft. of office, manufacturing, and warehouse space across four buildings in the same business park. We anticipate continued growth as our production ramps up. You will report to the Facilities Team Lead and collaborate closely with the Equipment Maintenance Team on facilities issues, especially those related to our cleanrooms.

Please note this is an onsite position based in Burnaby, BC.

Meaningful Work You Will Be Part Of

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Hands-on building and equipment repair and maintenance: doors, lighting, flooring, blinds, minor plumbing, furniture reconfiguration, salting and snow removal, sourcing materials, running errands.
  • Vendor/contractor coordination: janitors, locksmiths, appliance repair, furniture installation, fire alarm inspections, waste management.
  • Coordination with the Equipment Maintenance Team for HVAC, roof and building leaks, pest control.
  • Managing small improvement projects with external contractors; implementing facilities actions from the health and safety committee; assisting IT with minor IT infrastructure changes.
What You Bring to the Team

  • 2-3 years of experience coordinating facilities projects in a collaborative environment.
  • University education in a related field such as facilities management or engineering (desirable).
  • Experience troubleshooting minor repairs and using hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with MaintenanceCare is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • A positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
Compensation and Benefits

The total cash compensation range for this role is $55,600 – $72,400 CAD annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a base salary and contributions to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
