Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Wash Bay Attendant for Detour Lake Mine in Ontario. You will wash mining equipment, maintain a clean wash bay, and support maintenance activities while following zero-harm safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) and a valid driver’s license; MS Office skills are beneficial. The schedule operates on a 14/14 rotation with on-site accommodations and meals provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Washing mining equipment and components as required.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Moblie Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Ensuring the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to all tasks performed;

Washing mining equipment and components as required;

Maintaining the wash bay to promote a safe and efficient work area;

Performing routine and daily inspections of applicable equipment;

Completing work orders as assigned and track completion of tasks;

Assisting in maintenance practices and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Minimum High School Diploma or GED;

Valid Driver’s License;

Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Schedule:14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;

Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
