Western Dispatch in Edmonton is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Systems Coordinator for a hybrid role blending office operations with on-the-floor warehouse activity. You will ensure smooth goods flow, accurate inventory, and coordinated logistics.

The ideal candidate has strong warehousing and logistics experience, proven WMS knowledge (ShipHero/Extensiv/Helm WMS), and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to support daily operations and process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound trailers with timely pickups and deliveries
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams for daily logistics operations
• Use WMS to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment
• Monitor inventory levels including cycle counts and reconciliation
• Oversee cross-docking to optimize product flow and reduce storage time
• Support pick and pack operations for accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
• Identify and resolve shipment and inventory discrepancies
• Maintain safety standards and company procedures
• Assist in continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes

Job description

A strong working knowledge and experience with WMS systems such as ShipHero, Extensiv, Helm WMS or similar software is a must for this role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Systems Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid role that bridges office operations and on-the-floor warehouse activity. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate inventory management, and efficient coordination of logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to manage daily logistics operations
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliation
• Oversee cross-docking operations to optimize product flow and minimize storage time
• Support pick and pack operations to ensure order accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments, inventory, and documentation
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse and logistics processes
