Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in parts warehouse operations and hands-on processes.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF/barcode technology.
• Experience working in online real-time systems and proficient computer use.
• Experience setting up a WMS warehouse operation is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation and on-site training of various parts operations processes.
• Support branch personnel in the implementation and daily functionality of Warehouse and Inventory processes, including training of warehouse staff; integrate LMS into daily procedures and provide post-installation follow-up.
• Assist in development and user testing of system improvements with IT resources and branch personnel to improve Parts Supply Chain processes.
• Provide assistance to the Parts Operations Supervisor to execute the flagship project plan at Finning branches.
• Deliver hands-on training to warehouses on LWM parts processes.

Position Overview:

Finning is looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to our Surrey team! The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the implementation of new processes and systems throughout Finning's parts operations network. This position is also responsible for the delivery and implementation of new systems and processes, and as part of a larger team, to participate in parts operations warehouse optimization and efficiency projects. We anticipate the base salary for this position will be between $78-$82k. Actual salary will be based on the candidate's experience.

Job Description:

• Assist in the design, implementation and on-site training of various parts operations processes
• Support branch personnel in the implementation and daily functionality of the Warehouse and Inventory processes including the training of warehouse staff. Integrate LMS into daily procedures and providing post installation follow up and effectiveness
• Assist in the development & user testing of system improvements working directly with our IT resources and branch personnel to improve processes within the Parts Supply Chain
• Provide assistance to the Parts Operations Supervisor to execute the project (flagship) plan at various Finning branches
• Responsible for successful delivery of hands on training to our warehouses on LWM parts processes

Qualifications:

• Parts warehouse experience and hands-on involvement in basic warehouse processes
• Warehouse Management Systems experience and exposure to Radio Frequency technology and bar-coding is essential
• Experience working in an on-line, real-time systems environment and comfortable with general systems usage, including typing and spending time in front of a computer workstation
• Previous experience setting up a WMS warehouse operation would be considered a significant asset
• Strong analytical problem solving and multi-tasking skills

• Anticipated base salary is $78,000 - $82,000
