Job summary

Finning is seeking individuals with warehouse experience to join our West Edmonton warehouse on a 7 x 7 continuous day or night shift schedule. Positions involve handling parts, supporting shipping/receiving, and maintaining safe storage and inventory accuracy.

The role requires a commitment to safety and may include crane/forklift training and relevant certifications. Finning values teamwork, safety, and reliable performance across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Willingness to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications (WHMIS, TDG).
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment.
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external).
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment.
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock.
• Other duties as required.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking individuals with warehouse experience to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art warehouse located in West Edmonton on a 7 x 7 Continuous Day Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7am - 7pm) schedule and the 7 x 7 Continuous Night Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7pm - 7am) schedule

Job Description

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
• Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external)
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock
• Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

• Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset

• 14 open positions for 7x7 Continuous Day Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7am - 7pm)
• 6 open positions 7x7 Continuous Night Shift (Wednesday through Tuesday 7pm - 7am)
• Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
