Job summary

Finning Canada is hiring a Customer Service Representative for our Edmonton Regional Distribution Centre. You will support customers, coordinate with shipping and warehouse teams, and help ensure orders move smoothly from order to delivery.

The role is based in Edmonton, AB, full-time and permanent with a 7x7 shift, offering an opportunity to develop strong customer relationships in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of warehousing, logistics, distribution, or customer service experience.
• Experience coordinating shipments or transportation is an asset.
• Experience in heavy equipment, transportation, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries is an asset.
• Experience as a Parts Technician, Service Advisor, Mechanic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and voicemail messages.
• Provide timely, accurate information and solutions to customer questions and concerns.
• Identify root causes of issues and work toward effective resolutions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their orders.
• Record customer feedback, requests, and concerns and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate teams.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Participate in daily and weekly operational meetings to support customer service objectives.
• Coordinate with shipping and warehouse teams to help meet committed delivery dates.
• Assist warehouse operations with “hold until complete” orders and related customer inquiries.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Customer Service & Order Support

• Respond to incoming customer phone calls, emails, website inquiries, and voicemail messages
• Provide timely, accurate information and solutions to customer questions and concerns
• Listen carefully to identify the root cause of issues and work toward effective resolutions
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their parts orders

Transportation & Logistics Coordination

• Track shipments and orders with third-party transportation providers
• Arrange courier pickups and transportation for customer orders
• Prepare and complete shipping documentation and paperwork
• Monitor deliveries and proactively communicate updates to customers

• Previous experience within heavy equipment, transportation, oil & gas, industrial, equipment, or manufacturing industries is an asset
• Experience as a Parts Technician, Service Advisor, Mechanic
