Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking individuals with warehouse experience for our West Edmonton warehouse on a 7x7 continuous day shift (Wednesday through Tuesday, 7am–7pm). You will handle shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse upkeep.

As a warehouse person you will load/unload parts, maintain safety, and assist customers and coworkers. The role offers union participation and ongoing wage progression, with benefits and a potential bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing and/or RF Scanner experience would be considered an asset.
• Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHMIS and TDG.
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts trucks by hand or using material handling equipment.
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Provide assistance as needed to co-workers and customers (internal and external).
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning standards and to ensure a safe work environment.
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock.
• Other duties as required.

Important Information:

• Continuous Shift runs 7x7 - Wednesday through Tuesday, 12 hrs/day (7am – 7pm)
• Candidate Selection will be in accordance with the current CBA
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
