Job summary

Finning Canada in Kamloops, BC, is seeking a Parts Warehouseperson to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Warehouse Supervisor, you will pick, pack, label and ship Caterpillar parts, organize stock, and support inventory control on a 7x7 continuous shift.

This permanent role requires a high school diploma and safety training; forklift/crane experience is a plus. We offer competitive hourly wages, comprehensive benefits, an employee share plan and CAT training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be asset
• Willingness to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHMIS and TDG
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Responsibilities

• Picking customer and branch parts orders
• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
• Sorting and binning incoming stock
• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
• Hose building may be required
• Participate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain warehouse and yard storage areas to Finning standards for a safe environment
• Perform daily inspections of tooling and replenish warehouse supplies

Position Overview

We are currenting recruiting a Parts Warehouseperson to join our team in Kamloops, BC. Reporting to the Parts Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, this position is responsible for a variety of warehousing duties including but not limited to shipping and receiving of Caterpillar parts and components as well as general warehouse maintenance, housekeeping duties and assisting with inventory control.

Job Description

• Perform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment as well as replenish warehouse supplies as needed
• Accurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stock.
• Accurately identify and clean equipment parts and attachments prior to stocking
• Perform minor assembly and refurbishment as required.

Important Information

• This position is based in Kamloops, BC on a 7x7 continuous shift.
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.
