Job summary

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supplies, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and yard activities. You will mentor and grow your core team while ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped promptly.

Work closely with Roofmart Branch Staff and Sales Team to provide world-class support, build lasting customer relationships, and expand market share by delivering practical solutions to contractors, homeowners and builders.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business/Sales/Logistics/Human Resources or 5+ years’ warehouse/yard management experience.
• Valid Driver’s licence is required.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and yard activities.
• Mentor and grow the core warehouse team.
• Ensure accurate orders received and shipped in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Roofmart Branch Staff and Sales Team to support customers and build relationships.
• Grow business and market share by offering solutions to contractors and homeowners.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing various aspects of the local retail warehouse and yard
• Mentoring and growing your core team, recognizing that a manager's success is only possible with a strong team
• Overseeing the daily warehouse operations, maintaining control of orders received and shipped, and carrying out all duties required in a timely and efficient manner
• Working closely with our vibrant Roofmart Branch Staff and Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products.

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor's degree (in Business/Sales/Logistics/Human Resources) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/yard management, logistics experience
• Valid Driver's licence
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Salary range: $ 23 - $ 26 **this is a replacement***
