Job summary

Roofmart Canada is seeking an Inside Sales / Shipper and Receiver to be the first point of contact for customers in-store or by phone. You will handle sales, banking reconciliation, and purchasing, and you will pick, prepare, and load products onto company or customer trucks.

You will also offload deliveries, safely move and store goods, and operate a lift truck while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma and/or 3 or more years of Warehouse and Forklift Experience.
• 3 or more years of successful retail, business, accounting, or sales experience.
• Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• The customer’s first point of contact when shopping in-store or calling the branch.
• Completing sales transactions, daily banking reconciliation reports, and purchasing.
• Required to pick, prepare and load purchased product on to the Company truck or load the customer’s truck.
• Required to offload and put away product that is delivered to the branch.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of the product while at the facility.
• Lifting 80lbs and operate a lift truck.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and strong communication skills as you interact directly with customers.
