ABI Auto-Bake Industries Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Shipper in Richmond Hill, ON. You will manage supplier and customer shipments, handling aftermarket receiving, stocking, and supporting inspection and picking as needed.

You will book shipments, prepare accurate shipping documents, and work with customs brokers on cross-border shipments. There is room to propose improvements to the shipping area and processes, contributing to a safer, more efficient operation.

Position Summary:

As our Warehouse Shipper, you'll handle supplier and customer shipments, aftermarket receiving and stocking, and support inspection and picking as needed. You'll take ownership of booking shipments, preparing accurate documentation, and working with our customs brokers on cross-border shipments — and you'll have real room to bring your ideas for making the shipping area more efficient.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle supplier and customer shipments, including parcel receiving.
• Manage aftermarket receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Support inspection and order picking as needed.
• Book shipments and negotiate rates and routes with couriers and carriers.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including packing slips, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork (including certificate of origin information).
• Liaise directly with customs brokers on cross-border shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency and organization within the shipping area.
• Follow all applicable health & safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience in a shipping role, including booking shipments with carriers, completing shipping and customs documentation, and working with customs brokers (required).
• Background in a structured, procedural manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, accountable, and a strong team player.
• Self-motivated, with a track record of improving processes rather than just maintaining them.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience negotiating courier/carrier rates and routes.
• Experience with international/cross-border shipping documentation.
• Prior experience with a high-volume or highly structured logistics operation (e.g., large-scale manufacturing or distribution).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during a shift.
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift)
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
