Soucie Salo Safety in Sudbury, ON is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to manage receiving, packing, and shipping processes at our busy facility. You will ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and timely processing of shipments, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ year of warehouse experience, comfort with forklifts and pallet jacks, and strong attention to detail. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany a permanent full-time position in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience, preferably in industrial settings.
• Experience with hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to tasks and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and on time.
• Verify products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged, report discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Move inventory to designated storage and put-away areas.
• Coordinate and schedule incoming shipments to support warehouse operations.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts.
• Provide back up support to Counter & Inside Sales staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and on time
• Verify products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged in accordance with company procedures; report receiving discrepancies
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Move inventory to designated storage and put-away areas efficiently
• Coordinate and schedule incoming shipments to support smooth warehouse operations
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
• Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts
• Provide back up support to Counter & Inside Sales staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably an industrial setting
• Experience with hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc) strongly preferred
• Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to all tasks
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Effective time management and punctuality
• Superior organizational skills

• Basic level or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel)

In accordance with the provincial wage transparency requirements, the expected hourly wage for this position is $21 to $23 per hour (or more) depending on relevant experience, technical competencies, certifications, etc.
