Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Guelph, ON is seeking a Shipper/Receiver (Forklift) to operate in the warehouse, cooler and freezer areas while receiving materials and shipping finished goods. The role supports inventory control, order accuracy and food-safety compliance.
The position is full-time with shifts Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Proficiency with MHE, SAP, and Microsoft Office is required, along with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

We are looking for a self-driven with a high sense of urgency, shipping/ receiving operator who thrives working in a team-based challenging environment!
The successful candidate will be required to work within the warehouse, cooler and freezer areas receiving process materials and shipping finished goods, general housekeeping and inventory control.
Pre-operational inspections, operation and shutdown of all related equipment for efficient and safe operation (i.e., Forklifts, Counterbalance, Motorized walkie, Pump cart, Scanners)
Thorough and accurate completion of forms for HACCP & Quality Assurance (i.e.lot control for traceability, production reporting, product carry over)
Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility which may include wiping, sanitizing and sweeping
Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for product components and packaging materials (i.e. FIFO procedures)
Provide support and assistance to the production teams as required
Learn and understand the required function in SAP and Microsoft office.
Other duties as assigned
Employees must pass MHE Certification Training including the theoretical & practical portions
Heavy lifting, frequent pulling, twisting, bending, and standing for long periods of time is required
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to record and document information with high attention to detail
Computer skills are required
Interact and share information with employees at all levels in a professional manner (Team Members, Lead Hands, Supervisors, Others).
Take initiative and assume responsibilities to support production efficiencies and actively seek new and improved ways of completing tasks
Utilize our warehouse management system for the purpose of receiving and shipping products in our warehouse.
The candidate will be responsible for handling all applicable receiving and shipping paperwork as well as prepare the required paperwork either by hand or computer
