The Warehouse Service Manager will oversee daily operations of the warehouse and shipping departments, including managing inventory, ensuring timely and accurate shipments, maintaining safety standards, and leading warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
2. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance reviews.
3. Develop and implement efficient processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
4. Ensure safety compliance and maintain an organized, safe work environment.
5. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain stock levels.
6. Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory reports.
7. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments for timely order fulfillment and issue resolution.
8. Optimize shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
9. Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
10. Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse management, shipping, or logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and lift heavy objects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
