The Warehouse Service Manager oversees daily operations of the warehouse and shipping departments, including managing inventory, ensuring accurate and timely shipments, maintaining safety standards, and leading warehouse staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Lead and train warehouse team members, conduct performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to boost productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain stock.
  • Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve shipping issues.
  • Optimize shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehouse management, shipping, or logistics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
