Job summary

Bartle & Gibson is seeking a warehouse associate for our West Kelowna location. This role involves fast-paced behind-the-scenes work and physical labour, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds while meeting deadlines. A high school diploma is required; warehouse experience is an asset. We offer perks and growth opportunities.

• Warehouse experience is an asset.
• Fast-paced environment experience is an asset.
• Plumbing/electrical industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive material and/or pick and ship orders accurately.
• Complete paperwork and maintain shipping documents.
• Organize products and maintain inventories.
• Pull products from yard and warehouse as required.
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties.
• General warehouse duties and maintenance as needed.
• Restock materials as required.
• Other duties as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately receive material and/or pick and ship orders


• Ensure all paperwork is completed properly and documents are maintained for shipping purposes


• Organize products efficiently and maintain inventories


• Pull products from the yard and warehouse as required


• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties


• General warehouse duties and maintenance as needed


• Restock materials as and when required


• Other duties as required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Good organizational skills


• Accuracy in picking and shipping orders


• Organized team player with a strong aptitude to perform tasks accurately


• Punctual, efficient, and professional


• Proven ability to work under time constraints and deadlines


• Able to lift at least 50 pounds


• Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive attitude

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Previous warehouse experience will be considered an asset


• Experience in a fast-paced environment an asset


• Previous plumbing and/or electrical industry experience will be considered an asset
