Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team. This position is on-site at our Food Distribution Centre in Edmonton, AB.

What you’ll do:

Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided)
Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
FT - Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

May have PT opportunities

All new hires, whether full-time or part-time, must complete two weeks of full-time training and orientation

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.

A starting salary of $18.44 rising to $19.32 after probation with future increases determined by the applicable Collective Agreement.
