Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers for permanent on-site roles at our Calgary locations. The roles involve selecting items, packing orders, and transporting pallets to Co-ops, with occasional freezer work and adherence to PPE and safety protocols.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive tasks, and work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team. This position is on-site work at either our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) Distribution Centre located at2626 - 10th Avenue NE, Calgary, AB or our Food Distribution Centre located at3333 52nd Street SE, Calgary, AB.

What you’ll do:

• Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
• May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided)
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations. Thisteam strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.
