Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis at our Edmonton, AB Distribution Centre. You will fill, check and pack orders, operate a pallet jack and headset system, and report to the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations.

We offer a starting hourly wage of $18.44 escalating to $19.32 after probation, plus pension, health benefits, PPE and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfort working in a freezer when required.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.This position is on-site at our Food Distribution Centre in Edmonton, AB.

What you’ll do

• Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
• May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided)
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
• Shift available:
  • FT - Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

  • May have PT opportunities

    *All new hires, whether full-time or part-time, must complete two weeks of full-time training and orientation*

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations.Thisteam strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.

Who you are

• A starting salary of $18.44 rising to $19.32 after probation with future increases determined by the applicable Collective Agreement.
