Job summary

Bruce Power is seeking a First Line Manager, Warehouse to lead and optimize receiving, stockkeeping, inventory control, and distribution for a nuclear-site warehouse. You will supervise staff, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with maintenance and capital projects to support outages and routine operations at the site.

You will oversee process improvements, develop procedures, and implement barcoding and tool management systems to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing/procurement principles and theories.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and related acts, policies and procedures for warehousing, shipping and transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Familiarity with civil maintenance equipment and related systems.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication for reports, procedures and practices.
  • Experience with station low level purchasing procedures and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input for long-term planning and resource allocation.
  • Manage resources and shifts for outages and non-routine work.
  • Identify training needs and conduct staff evaluations and safety briefings.
  • Support HR processes including hiring, discipline, performance, and absence management.
  • Prepare documentation and track performance metrics; manage inventory and backlogs.
  • Coordinate special material movements and approve removals; ensure tool availability and safety compliance.
