Job summary

OZZ Electric Inc. in Port Coquitlam, BC, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support daily warehouse activities, staff, and fleet management. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with duties including material orders, stock maintenance, and safe operations.

You will collaborate with Shop and Site Supervisors, manage tool inventories, deliveries, site cleanup stock, and routine repairs and maintenance. Strong attention to detail and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Forklift license.
  • First Aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Warehouse Operations and staff, coordinating work with Site Supervisor(s) and Shop Supervisor.
  • Plan and prioritize work for self and staff.
  • Oversee delivery schedules for company drivers.
  • Perform general cleanup of the warehouse facility.
  • Organize and maintain tool supply crib (inbound/outbound).
  • Oversee tracking, status and request for tools and equipment as well as maintain accurate inventory.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, manuals and warranties.
  • Drive OZZ Electric vehicles, as required.
  • Perform site deliveries and load/unload vehicles as required.
  • Organize stock from site cleanups and perform site cleanups when necessary.
  • Sorting and stripping of wire.
  • Prepare skids to be racked and document content of skids.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Work with purchasing department on filling site material orders.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining vehicle fleet.
  • Manage outside grounds (salting walkways, ensuring access ways are clear & safe).
  • Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, etc.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions, as required.
  • Detect faulty operations, report issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain light fixtures and change bulbs/tubes as required.
  • Update and maintain information in records systems and databases.
  • Use hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
  • Support Site Supervisor(s) and Shop Supervisor as required.
  • Operate Forklift as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for assisting with the daily Warehouse Operations and managing staff. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will report to the Shop Supervisor. This role will have a hand in activities related to filling site material orders, managing, and maintaining the vehicle fleet as well as organizing all stock that comes into the warehouse. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions, as required.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to supervisor.
  • Maintain light fixtures and changes bulbs/tubes as required.
  • Update and maintain information in OZZ Electric’s records systems and department databases.
  • Use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Support Site Supervisor(s) and Shop Supervisor as required.
  • Operate Forklift as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities.
  • H ighly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license (Class 5).
  • Possesses a Forklift license.
  • First Aid skills and or certificates are considered an asset.
