Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. through its GMS Canada unit is hiring a Warehouse Associate at the Regina, SK location to operate a forklift and handle loading and unloading of building materials. You will prepare and complete orders, receive shipments, manage inventory, and maintain safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

You'll work with a team to optimize space, follow health and safety guidelines, and deliver reliable service to customers while reporting discrepancies and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Greater than one year experience in a similar role.
• Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
• Strong customer service mindset and safety awareness.

Job description

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent prepares, loads, and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the safe operation of a forklift truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Receives incoming shipments and manages inventory.
• Loads and unloads company trucks as needed.
• Keeps a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.
• Reports any discrepancies.
• Operates a forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Performs other duties as required.
