Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage, handling, and distribution of plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks and industrial products. You will load/unload shipments, verify inbound materials, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include putting away stock, packing orders, and loading trucks. Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift certification is

• Warehouse experience required.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
