Job summary

Toujours Mikes in Quebec is seeking a friendly waiter/waitress to welcome guests, take orders, and serve meals and beverages. You will ensure a smooth dining experience and help maintain a clean, inviting dining room.

Candidates should have prior experience in food service, good teamwork, and fluency in French (spoken). The role offers flexible full- or part-time schedules, weekends and holidays possible, with on-site hours in Loretteville.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, present the menu, make suggestions using sales techniques and answer questions about food and beverages
• Take orders and transmit them to the kitchen staff through the POS system
• Prepare beverage service (cocktails, beer, wine, etc.), serve meals and desserts ensuring quality service in the dining room
• Take reservations and greet customers for take-out
• Clear and clean tables in the dining room
• Restock the service areas
• Prepare invoices, collect money and balance financial transactions for the day
• Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation
