Job summary

Toujours Mikes in Lévis, QC is seeking a friendly waiter/waitress to take orders, serve customers, and prepare beverages in a fast-paced dining room.

You will greet guests, upsell items, manage reservations and take-out, and maintain cleanliness while following hygiene and safety rules. Fluent French is required and weekend/holiday shifts may be needed. This on-site role offers a casual, welcoming environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to adapt and collaborate with the team.
• Fluent in spoken French is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and present the menu, making suggestions and answering questions about food and beverages.
• Take orders and transmit them to the kitchen staff through the POS system.
• Prepare beverage service (cocktails, beer, wine), serve meals and desserts with quality service in the dining room.
• Handle reservations and greet customers for take-out.
• Clear and clean tables in the dining room; restock service areas.
• Prepare invoices, collect money and balance daily transactions.
• Apply hygiene and safety rules and ensure workstation cleanliness.

• Take reservations and greet customers for take-out;
• Clear and clean tables in the dining room;
• Restock the service areas;
• Prepare invoices, collect money and balance financial transactions for the day;
• Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules;
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food service (asset);
• Excellent ability to adapt and collaborate;
• Excellent understanding (and spoken) of French;

Schedule

Your schedule may vary with the possibility of working full and part time. You may be required to work weekends and holidays. Schedules may include split hours. We always remain flexible to balance work, pleasure and personal life.
