Job summary

Toujours Mikes in Loretteville, Quebec City is seeking a friendly waiter/waitress to greet guests, take orders, and serve meals and desserts. You will use POS to relay orders and ensure smooth dining room service.

You should have experience in food service and be fluent in French, with a collaborative spirit. Schedules may vary, including weekends and holidays, with full or part-time opportunities, all within a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is an asset.
• Excellent adaptability and teamwork.
• Fluent spoken French.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, present the menu, make suggestions using sales techniques and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take orders and transmit them to the kitchen staff through the POS system.
• Prepare beverage service (cocktails, beer, wine, etc.), serve meals and desserts ensuring quality service in the dining room.
• Take reservations and greet customers for take-out.
• Clear and clean tables in the dining room;
• Restock the service areas;
• Prepare invoices, collect money and balance financial transactions for the day;
• Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules;
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
