Eglinton Veterinary Facilities, a busy veterinary hospital in Toronto, seeks a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member to support our reception and patient care teams in a hybrid role.

The ideal candidate may have veterinary or animal care experience, is enthusiastic and compassionate, and is eager to learn. Training is available; Avimark experience is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary, medical, animal care, or customer service experience is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answering multi-line phone systems
• Scheduling appointments and managing daily bookings
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
• Assisting with client communications, reminders, and follow-up calls
• Using Avimark veterinary practice software
• Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient handling and restraint
• Supporting hospitalized patient care and monitoring
• Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas

Description & Requirements

Eglinton Veterinary Facilities is seeking a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member to join our busy and growing veterinary hospital.

This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on patient care. The successful candidate will split their time between supporting our reception team and assisting with patient care throughout the hospital.

Veterinary experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Client Care Duties

• Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
