Job summary

Eglinton Veterinary Facilities in Toronto is seeking a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member to join our busy hospital. The hybrid role combines reception duties with hands-on patient care, offering variety and opportunity to learn.

We value compassion for animals and people, welcome veterinary or customer service experience, and provide training. Responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling, processing payments, assisting veterinarians, maintaining exam rooms, and using Avimark

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Eglinton Veterinary Facilities is seeking a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member to join our busy and growing veterinary hospital.

This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys both client interaction and hands‑on patient care. The successful candidate will split their time between supporting our reception team and assisting with patient care throughout the hospital.

Veterinary experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Client Care Duties

• Greeting clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
• Answering multi‑line phone systems
• Scheduling appointments and managing daily bookings
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
• Assisting with client communications, reminders, and follow‑up calls
• Using Avimark veterinary practice software

Patient Care Duties

• Assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient handling and restraint
• Supporting hospitalized patient care and monitoring

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary, medical, animal care, or customer service experience is an asset
