Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Warehouse and Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement, inventory control, and receiving at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. You will lead purchasing staff and collaborate with the Executive Chef, General Manager, and operations teams to meet menu needs and event schedules.

You will source vendors, negotiate contracts, ensure food safety and health regulations, manage budgets, and drive cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and timely product flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality, or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years in purchasing, inventory, or warehouse management, preferably in food/beverage or venue ops.
• Experience managing staff in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Budgeting, cost analysis, and P&L accountability experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and purchasing systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement, vendor management, and inventory ops across catering, concessions, banquets, retail, and beverage.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships for quality and cost.
• Evaluate new products and suppliers to improve quality and profitability.
• Monitor vendor contracts, delivery schedules, and service standards.
• Partner with finance for invoice reconciliation and discrepancies.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution with compliance to health regs.
• Implement inventory control, conduct audits, and minimize shrinkage.
• Use systems to track costs, trends, and performance.
• Lead and develop purchasing and warehouse staff.
• Align purchasing with menu needs, event schedules, and financial targets.
