Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a Warehouse and Purchasing Manager for BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.

The role oversees procurement, receiving, inventory and warehouse operations to support catering, concessions and events. You will lead purchasing and warehouse staff, negotiate with vendors, ensure food safety and cost control, and partner with the Executive Chef and operations teams to align purchasing with menus and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
• 2+ years of purchasing, inventory, or warehouse management experience.
• Experience leading teams in high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Budgeting and cost analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Procure, receive, inventory, and warehouse operations across catering, concessions, banquets, and events.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships for quality and price.
• Monitor contracts, delivery schedules, food safety, and service standards.
• Collaborate with finance for invoice reconciliation and cost optimization.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution while ensuring compliance.
• Implement inventory control systems and minimize shrinkage.
• Lead and develop purchasing and warehouse staff.
• Partner with Executive Chef and operations teams to align purchasing with menus and event schedules.
