Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Vehicle Inventory Associate in Canada to ensure accurate and detailed vehicle data entry for the inventory system. You will identify features, determine trims, and transfer information from documents to the CarFax system and vehicle specs.

This full-time role supports the production team and requires meticulous data handling. Key responsibilities include fast-paced data uploads, cross-team collaboration, and maintaining organized records for inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid G2 driver’s license (Ontario) is required.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Manually identify and capture features within vehicles.
• Determine vehicle trim levels using captured features.
• Copy data from documents into the vehicle inventory system (CarFax, specs, recalls).
• Complete uploads for each vehicle in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with production teams (detailing, shuttling, inspections).
• Maintain accurate and organized records for inventory and reporting.

About the role

We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and excellence. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Vehicle Inventory Associate to join our Production team. This role ensures accurate and detailed vehicle data is entered into our inventory system so every car meets Clutch’s quality and sales standards.

What you’ll do

• Manually identify and capture features within vehicles
• Use captured features to determine vehicle trim levels
• Copy data from documents into our vehicle inventory system (CarFax information, vehicle specifications, recall information)
• Complete uploads for each vehicle in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
• Collaborate with production teams as needed (detailing, shuttling, inspections)
• Maintain accurate and organized records for inventory and reporting

What we’re looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• License: Valid G2 driver’s license (Ontario)
• Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs

Skills & Attributes

• High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with vehicle features commonly sold in Canada
• Previous data entry experience with high accuracy (Google Docs, Sheets)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Knowledge of common car brands in the Canadian market
• Ability to operate various vehicles (manual and automatic is a plus)
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
