AutoCanada is seeking an experienced Export Buyer in Winnipeg, MB. You will identify and analyze vehicle purchase opportunities, appraise vehicles daily, and execute informed purchases with a focus on profitability. A valid driver’s license and strong client service are essential.

The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Government-issued salesperson permit is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze vehicle purchase opportunities via dealership appraisals, offsite auctions, or online venues.
• Appraise a targeted number of vehicles daily and execute purchases based on analysis.
• Assess vehicle damage and estimate associated costs for sound purchasing decisions.
• Monitor market trends in Canada and the USA to guide purchase decisions.
• Make timely, financially sound purchasing decisions within tight timeframes.
• Maintain objectives in purchasing and gross profit margins as directed by the Territory Manager.
• Other duties as required.
