We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team! You’ll be responsible for analysing target vehicles for purchase and executing purchases based on their research. You’ll take direction from the Territory Manager on day-to-day strategy and provide marketplace feedback and analysis of their day-to-day activity. As a Specialist, you’ll be expected to perform in a high-risk environment by demonstrating an ability to make quick and informed decisions based on industry-specific data.
Your area of focus.
The role involves identifying and analyzing vehicle purchase opportunities through dealership appraisals, offsite auctions, and online platforms, making independent purchasing decisions based on thorough analysis. You will assess vehicle damage, monitor market trends in Canada and the USA, and make timely, financially sound decisions to meet purchasing and profit margin goals. Strong interpersonal skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential, along with attention to detail and financial acumen. Previous sales or wholesale vehicle experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred, along with a government-issued Salesperson’s permit.
